What Wine Clubs Ship to Canada?

P9221521Not too long ago, one of our friends asked on our Facebook page:

Hey WCR-ers – Do you guys know of any wine clubs or wine club offers that don’t charge outrageous shipping and/or duty to Canada?

Like shipping to different states, shipping to different countries have rules & regulations that must be followed. First, I wanted to check the current clubs which we recommend, to see if they ship to different countries.

Cellars Wine Club has a State / Province dropdown, but only US states are listed. Also, there’s a line for Country, but “US” is the only choice.

Gold Medal Wine Club allows for shipments to be sent to the US or the UK.

Wine Collective

Wine CollectiveWine Collective is a Canadian-base wine club, who uses distributors to process orders. Pricing varies based on your shipping zone, but they offer multiple clubs and average about $100 per shipment of 2-4 bottles.

AmazingClubs.ca

Amazing Clubs CanadaAmazingClubs.ca has a wine club that ship to Ontario, Canada. You can choose to receive monthly or every-other month shipments for 3, 6, or 12 months or a Wine-of-the-Season Club which is a quarterly delivery.

MonthlyClubs.ca

MonthlyClubs.ca MonthlyClubs.ca is just $41.95 – $59.95 / month for 1 or 2 bottles of wine, but again only shipping to the province of Ontario.

Hemispheres Wine Guild

Hemispheres Wine GuildHemispheres Wine Guild memberships delivers wine by the case. With their Taster Trial membership, you get 1 case for 3 monthly payments of $110 ($330 total payment). As a Taster Member, choose between red wines, whites, or a mixed case with four deliveries per year for $110 per month ($1320 total payment). Hemispheres Wine Guild ships to all provinces, but at $27.50 per bottle, it’s a pricey option.

If you’re getting frustrated trying to find a wine club that can ship to you, we feel your pain. Even here in the States there are limitations. If you’re in Ontario, you have a few affordable options for wine ship memberships. Otherwise, check with your local winery or retail wine shop to see if they have a club.
